Planning a wedding equates to a million and one tasks. You think you’re on track and then, BOOM. You’re in the shower and four more tasks come up. One task that most of our clients find fun and lighthearted is building their wedding website. This is where you get to showcase your story, add your BEAUTIFUL engagement photos, build your registry (ugh, this part is my fav), and share ALL your hard work from wedding planning.

You’ll find very quickly that family, friends, and random guests will ask you so many questions during your engagement season. Your website should be a great tool to answer all of their questions in one place.

To make your life easier, we’ve created a list of the BEST and most asked questions to add to your FAQs page on your wedding website along with some examples on how to share your answers!

1. Is there parking available at the wedding site?

Answer: Yes, there is parking. Please note that the property is 500 acres. The venue will have shuttles the day of, but please give yourself ample time to get to the ceremony site.

2. Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer: Our wedding Ceremony and Cocktail Hour will be held outdoors. Our Reception will be held inside a tent. Please dress accordingly.

3. Do you have room blocks for any of the surrounding hotels?

Answer: Yes! You can see more information for our hotel blocks under the “Travel” tab. We will have transportation to and from the wedding site from these hotels.

4. Will there be transportation for your wedding guests?

Answer: Yes! Transportation will be available from [insert timeframe]. The shuttle services go from [insert hotel block locations] to the wedding site in between that timeframe.

5. What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer: We can’t wait to dance the night away with our favorite people. Dress to impress in your best cocktail attire!

6. Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer: We regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding! 

7. Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer: We love your little ones, but we have decided that our wedding will be an adult-only occasion.

8. Where should we bring/send our wedding gifts?

Answer: Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at [insert address]. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

9. What time should I arrive for your wedding ceremony?

Answer: We ask that you not arrive earlier than 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Arriving at least 15 minutes early to find a seat is suggested.

10. When is your RSVP deadline?

Answer: We kindly ask that you RSVP no later than [insert date]. There are a lot of moving pieces for our wedding and we need to have final head counts for our vendors!

11. Will you have an open or cash bar?

Answer: Drinks are on us, but the hangovers are on you! We will be having an open bar, so we better see you on the dance floor!

12. I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What’s the best way to let you know?

Answer: There will be an option to let us know when you electronically RSVP!

13. I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?

Answer: If you have additional questions, feel free to contact our wedding planner, [insert wedding planner’s name] at [insert wedding planner’s email address]!

Once you list these questions on your website, you’ll just be able to send all your guests to the one stop shop! We’ve found Minted or Zola to be the easiest wedding websites to use!
